We love this Kitchen Composter because it takes all your kitchen waste and allows you to turn it into rich garden compost AND concentrated liquid plant feed.
Cooked or raw, meat, fish or dairy – it doesn't really matter… pop it all into the airtight container, sprinkle in a handful of Bokashi bran and let the micro-organisms begin to compost the waste. After a few weeks the contents can be safely transferred to any home composter or buried into the ground. Even the leftover liquid has a use. Full of beneficial microbes, it's perfect for using diluted as a plant feed.
Scoop, inner drain tray and 3-4 month upply of Bokashi (1 Kg) included. Odour-free and airtight, it’s safe to keep in the kitchen.

I do not have a lot of room in my garden for a large composter so this is the ideal solution. I am going to have one in the kitchen and when it is full move it into the conservatory until it is ready to be put into the garden. The Kitchen Waste Composter is an air-tight container which the food waste is placed in. Bokashi is added as a compost activator. This is a bran based material that has been prepared with EM (Effective Micro-organisms), a mixed culture of naturally occuring friendly micro-organisms. The food waste then ferments, allowing it to then be safely composted. The double bucket set allows one bucket to be in the process of being filled whilst the other is in the two week fermenting process.
Just pop your waste into the air-tight 18L container along with the compost activator, which is a bran-based material made with a culture of friendly micro-organisms that speeds up fermentation. The liquid feed produced is alive with beneficial microbes and can be drained off and diluted as a plant feed or poured down drains to prevent algae build up and odours. The process does not produce smells or attract flies so the container can be safely kept in the kitchen.
Please note: The Kitchen Waste Composter holds on average 2 weeks worth of food waste, which will take approximately 2 weeks to break down. Therefore we recommend that 2 of these composters are purchased to be used simultaneously. Also note that the material produced can be put straight onto a compost heap or into a deep trench to finish decomposing.
